The Best Broccoli Of Your Life

2 large bunches of broccoli
6 ½ tbsp olive oil
1 ½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
4 slides garlic cloves
zest and juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp toasted pine nuts
1/3 cups grated parmesan cheese.
2 tbsp julienned basil leavesPreparation:
Cut broccoli into florets and place on a cookie sheet. Toss with 5tbsp olive oil, salt and pepper and garlic. Roast in the oven 20 to 25 minutes, until crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned. Remove from the oven and zest a lemon over the broccoli and squeeze the lemon juice over the broccoli, add the remaining olive oil, toasted pine nuts, grated parmesan cheese and basil and serve.
