Daikon is a type of long, white radish. It’s most often associated with Asian cuisine, where it is often pickled. It’s an extremely versatile vegetable, and is delicious raw or cooked. Like other types of radishes, it’s great roasted. Try it braised with beef or sliced raw in a sandwich.
Lunar was super successful at growing daikon for us this season, these radishes grew into giants! We've had Lunar trim them down to approximately 1lb pieces, which we feel is a more mangeable portion of radish for anyone wanting to give them a try!
