Albert and Frances Lundberg had seen the ravages of poor soil management that created the 1930s Dustbowl and as a result, impressed upon their four sons the importance of caring for the soil. In the 1960s, the Lundberg boys started selling their rice to the public. Now, the third and fourth generations of the Lundberg family carry on the tradition of eco-positive farming methods to produce healthful rice products.
