Yoso is a family operated business that was started by brothers Erik Lo and Francis Lo. The brothers came to Canada in the eighties. Erik studied both food science and dairy technology while Francis studied agribusiness at the University of Guelph. It was Guelph that they started experimenting with ideas for a gourmet dairy free spread made with locally grown soybeans in southwestern Ontario. Today, the Lo brothers strive to deliver their dairy-free, gluten free, casein-free, vegan, fermented and cultured foods to all to enjoy.
