Sean and Nora are first generation farmers. After working for many years in London, Ontario, in 2010, they decided to move out of the city in search of a more quiet, peaceful life to raise their 2 daughters. They moved to a 25 acre property near Bothwell, Ontario and started growing their own vegetables; thoroughly enjoying the process. More importantly, they enjoyed knowing that the vegetables were free from pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers. Every year their gardens grew larger, as they shared their harvests with family and friends. They also spent lots of time attending organic conferences and consulting with people knowledgeable in sustainable farming methods. In 2016, they purchased an additional 25 acres. They attained their organic certification from Pro-Cert and started Red Devon Organics. They take great care to improve the health of their soil, as this enables them to grow healthy, nutrition-packed vegetables. Along with their hard working staff, they are dedicated to growing a large variety of fresh, high quality, delicious food without damaging the environment. We feel so lucky to have connected with them in 2019, and are looking to many years of delicious produce to come!
