I’ve been receiving deliveries from Mama Earth for about a year now.  It’s been wonderful.  Not only is the quality of the food terrific, but I’ve been introduced to a number of new foods (Yay chard!).  The baskets are totally customizable so I never have to take foods I know I don’t like.  There are other add-ons such as breads, cheese, honey, that round out my grocery order.  The service is also very friendly and flexible to suit my schedule.  Mama Earth has had a huge and healthy affect on my shopping and eating… oh and it’s EASY.  Great food comes right to my door.  It doesn’t get much better than that.

We have been with Heather and the good people of Mama Earth Organics for a couple years and have never been disappointed with the service or quality of the product.  When we first decided to begin supporting local, organic farms we found it difficult with our work schedules to dedicate the time needed to visit the farmers markets.  When we discovered Mama Earth Organics we found a company that met our needs perfectly – a small basket of seasonal, organic produce that we could adjust according to our needs that week (and later they expanded so you could add to your order Amish cheese, local bread from St. John’s bakery, honey, milk, eggs, ect.) waiting at your door when we returned from work.  We always look forward to sorting out the vegetables at the end of our day while taking turns reading Heather’s write-up and recipe suggestions in the newsletter that accompanies the order.  They provide a wonderful service that makes organic shopping easier and convenient.  In the end, after all this, I will add one simple thing – they are good people doing good things and if that isn’t refreshing enough nowadays, you use too much starch.

Second, the prices are competitive with local supermarket. And finally, the quality of everything we’ve tried — fruits, veg, breads, cheese, cider, tofu, eggs and jam — is exceptional, and so is the customer service. If something’s not quite right, we let the staff know and they apologize and credit our bill. Delivery day is a real highlight for us”
